ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) has received a potential five-year, $98M contract from the Department of Health and Human Services to provide child welfare capacity building support to HHS™ Administration for Children and Families Children’s Bureau.
The recompete contract has a one-year base term and four option years and includes the delivery of technical services, training and implementation support to territorial and state child welfare agencies to help improve the well-being and safety of children and their families, ICF said Thursday.
Jennifer Welham, a senior vice president at ICF, said the company and the Children™s Bureau have developed a collaborative relationship through the Child Welfare Information Gateway and the Child Welfare Capacity Building Center for States.
“We look forward to continuing to support them in their efforts to identify effective prevention strategies, develop best practices for building capacity around change management and implement sustainable child welfare programs, Welham added.
