Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a potential $232M delivery order under a five-year basic ordering agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide global material support for the U.S. Army’s AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
DLA awarded the order through a sole-source acquisition process and will obligate defense working capital funds for fiscal 2020 through fiscal 2024, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The contract has a five-year base period along with one four-year option.
Work is initially slated to conclude by Nov. 18, 2024, and will take place in Arizona and Missouri.
