MicroTech has received an authority to operate from the General Services Administration after the Tysons, Va.-based company completed security tests under the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle.
GSA said Friday the three-year ATO validates completion of functional and security assessments of MicroTech™s business support system, making it the first of three EIS small-business awardees to conclude BSS testing activities.
The service-disabled, veteran-owned contractor can begin to accept task and delivery orders via the potential $50B telecommunication contract.
GSA previously cleared AT&T (NYSE: T), CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL), Verizon (NYSE: VZ), BT Federal and L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) to do business under the program.
Core Technologies, Granite Telecommunications and MetTel are the remaining EIS contract holders that await ATO.
