Atlas Research’s Kenneth Kizer Named David E. Rogers Award Recipient

Kenneth Kizer, chief health care transformation officer and senior executive vice president at Atlas Research, has been selected as the recipient of the Association of American Medical Colleges™ David E. Rogers Award in recognition of his contributions to the U.S. health care sector.

AAMC will present the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-sponsored award to Kizer at its annual meeting on Nov. 10 in Phoenix, Atlas Research said Monday.

œI am deeply honored to receive this award and very grateful to have been able to contribute to transforming health care delivery and enhancing public health over the years, Kizer said.

Kizer joined Atlas in July after serving as a medical school faculty member at the University of California, Davis. He is former director of the university™s Institute for Population Health Improvement and a distinguished professor at UC Davis School of Medicine and Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing.

He was the founding CEO and president of the National Quality Forum and an elected member of the National Academy of Public Administration and National Academy of Medicine.
