Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a four-year, $150.5 contract modification to deliver hardware and support equipment for infrastructure used to transmit data on the health and maintenance of F-35 jets worldwide.
The company will provide items for the Autonomic Logistics Information System to support lot 11 F-35s of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force as well as non-Department of Defense participants and foreign military sales clients, the Pentagon said Friday.
ALIS is designed to help operators maintain, plan and sustain systems of the aircraft via a single information environment.
USAF accounts for 16.06 percent of purchases under the modification, while the Marine Corps and the Navy account for 6.40 and 7.41 percent, respectively.
