The Department of Housing and Urban Development and the General Services Administration have released three requests for quotes as part of the second phase of HUDs information technology modernization through the Centers of Excellence program.
The RFQs posted on GitHub seek to advance the procurement of a cloud-based electronic records management system and intelligent data extraction platform; develop a centralized customer experience capability; and establish an office of the chief data officer to implement a data management strategy and oversee data as a strategic asset.
Other requirements identified by HUD during the CoE programs discovery phase are the need to centralize the agencys client inquiries and knowledge base into a single contact center; use of data visualization techniques; and adoption of advanced analytics to improve the decision-making process driven by data.
Federal News Network reported HUD and GSA will accept bids for the ERM RFQ, which has a one-year base period and two option years, through Oct. 9.
The customer experience solicitation has a one-year base term and two 12-month options and includes nine task orders with one optional task. Offers for this RFQ will be accepted through Oct. 4.
The OCDO RFQ covers five task areas and includes a base term of one year, two option years and one six-month option. Responses to the solicitation are due Oct. 9.
HUD and GSA plan to release three more RFQs for the HUDCentral contact center, data visualization and advanced analytics for OCDO.
GSA selected HUD in September as the second agency for the CoE initiative, which aims to help the latter analyze IT challenges and implement modernization efforts.
