Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has opened a new facility in Colorado Springs, Colo. with the intent to help customers test new space-based tools through realistic multidomain scenarios.

Pulsar Guardian is connected to other virtual and augmented reality-based workspaces under Lockheed™s space business to facilitate remote collaboration between clients and subject matter experts, the company said Tuesday.

The fully immersive workspace is designed to support cybersecurity testing efforts through sandbox environments as well as simulated assessments of various platforms such as aerial vehicles and satellites.

Maria Demaree, vice president and general manager of mission solutions at Lockheed’s space segment, said the facility offers customers a new approach to conduct training and wargaming activities that involve new and current space assets.

The company noted it operates Pulsar Guardian in accordance with the U.S. Air Force™s Universal Command and Control Interface regulations.
