Aaron Faulkner, former vice president of cybersecurity at ECS, has been named head of the cyber practice within Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal subsidiary.
The more than 18-year industry veteran will oversee efforts to design, build and deliver cybersecurity offerings to federal civilian and defense customers in his new position, Accenture said Monday.
John Goodman, chief executive of Accenture Federal Services and a 2019 Wash100 awardee, said Faulkner brings to the company his previous experience in cyber defense initiatives that applied cloud computing, automation and artificial intelligence tools.
I look forward to helping AFS clients take advantage of new technologies and cyber services that will secure their systems, networks and IT infrastructure,” Faulkner said.
He previously worked as chief strategy officer at InfoReliance, which ECS acquired in April 2017.
Faulkner joins Accenture five months after the company opened its federal services cyber center in San Antonio.
