The Defense Information Systems Agency is looking for potential sources of information technology services to support the integration of disparate cybersecurity platforms into a single network for Department of Defense personnel exchange data.
A potential contractor will develop, integrate and operate the Unified Cyber Situational Awareness environment,” according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday.
DISA also requires support to transition users from existing cyber defense systems into the consolidated platform. IT services outlined in the sources sought document include system administration, database management, systems engineering, network monitoring, information assurance, big data management and cloud support.
According to the agency, the DoD Information Network’s critical nature warrants “robust and redundant capabilities that would support continue operations in all conditions including natural disasters as well as cyber and physical attacks.
