Eleven companies have won spots on a potential 10-year, $950M contract to supply commercial aircrew and environmetal protection equipment to the U.S. Air Force.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center received 12 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $11K in fiscal 2018 other procurement funds at the time of award, the Deparmrent of Defense said Thursday.
Contractors will compete for aircrew item orders that could include personal protective equipment, visual augmentation tools, communication platforms, search and rescue equipment, power management systems, medical tools and other products needed for survivability.
DoD expects contract work to conclude by Aug. 8, 2029.
