Mark Heck, a more than two-decade business development and operations executive, has been named vice president of defense and intelligence business unit at Falls Church, Va.-based management consulting firm Suntiva. He will oversee the delivery of workforce and technology platforms to government agencies, Suntiva said Monday.
Hany Malik, president and CEO of Suntiva, said Heck brings to the company depth of experience as a profit-and-loss leader. Heck held senior leadership roles at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), BAE Systems, Concurrent Technologies Corp. and Harris, which now operates as L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
His prior successes in strategic planning, marketing and brand awareness, business development, and operationsalong with his people-first approach make him a great cultural fit at Suntiva as well, Malik added.
He is also a member of various industry organizations, including the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Intelligence and National Security Alliance, Air Force Association, National Defense Industrial Association and the Potomac Officers Club.
Suntiva is a small disadvantaged business focused on providing digital, business process and workforce transformation support services to federal agencies.
