Nazzic Keene, CEO of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and a 2019 Wash100 winner, has said that she will prioritize integration and cost synergy efforts related to SAIC’s acquisition of Engility, Inside Defense reported Wednesday.
Keene, who succeeded fellow 2019 Wash100 Award recipient Tony Moraco as SAIC CEO in March, told the publication that the company has seen modest growth over recent years and that she expects the current state of budget allocations to drive more business opportunities for the combined company.
Employee recruitment and retention initiatives are also included in her priority agenda, the report noted.
SAIC completed its $2.5B purchase of Engility in January.
