KBR Gets NAVAIR Logistics IT Support Task Order; Byron Bright Quoted

KBR (NYSE: KBR) has secured a 56-month, $46M task order for information technology support to the Naval Air Systems Command™s logistics operations at a U.S. Navy facility in Patuxent River, Md.

The company said Tuesday it will provide research, development, engineering, integration, testing, maintenance and training services for the NAVAIR Logistics and Maintenance Information Systems and Technology Division™s IT platforms through the cost-plus-fixed-fee task order.

The award is part of the Cyber Security and Information Systems Technical Area Task under DoD’s Information Analysis Center Multi-Award Contract.

Byron Bright, president of KBR’s U.S. government services arm, said the company is looking forward to continuing their logistics IT services to support operations across the naval aviation enterprise.

The company has supported NAVAIR over the past two decades.
