TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 02, 2019 ” A Raytheon-developed (NYSE: RTN) mobile application called NexGenTrac, which works to enable secure emergency communications between employers and employees, is now available for deployment by the government and commercial sectors, ExecutiveBiz reported June 26.

The app™s features include the capability for users to find out their exact geographic location, a street-level mapping interface for navigation purposes, secure instant messaging, and the ability to send an emergency alert status, the company said June 26.

“Now available for global governments, agencies or companies supporting a variety of missions, this application provides an immediate secure link to employees,” said John DeSimone, vice president of cybersecurity and special missions at Raytheon™s intelligence, information and services business unit.

“Unlike many social media platforms used to provide status updates, NexGenTrac gives you the ability to own and manage your data in a secure environment,” he added.

NexGenTrac, which utilizes secure servers throughout the U.S., is available for downloading on iOS and Android mobile devices.
