The federal business of Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has received a one-year, $65.4M other transaction agreement from the U.S. Air Force to conduct risk reduction efforts for an enterprise information technology-as-a-service platform.
Accenture Federal Services will help the military branch develop, operate and maintain a hosting platform for storing and processing applications and data, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Air Force will obligate $28.5M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Work under the OTA will take place at various military air bases in Colorado, Alabama, Nebraska, New Mexico and Florida as well as Joint Base Elemendorf-Richardson in Alaska.
The Pentagon expects AFS to complete the project by June 2020.
