VT Systems Subsidiary Lands $95M Army OTA to Develop Unified Training Simulation Platform

Jeff Brody

VT Systems subsidiary has received a potential $95M other transaction agreement to provide a simulation technology for use in U.S. Army collective training programs.

VT Mak will develop components of the Training Management Tool and the Training Simulation Software designed to integrate with the military service’s synthetic training environment, the company said Monday.

According to VT MAK, it will also configure the environment with new tools intended to help the service branch address future mission requirements.

The two platforms, along with the VT MAK-developed One World Terrain system, will be part of the STE Common Synthetic Environment, which will feature player and artificial intelligence controlled elements.

The suite will also support interoperability with other STE functions and live training environments.
