He will succeed Ken Asbury, a six-time Wash100 Award recipient who will retire as president and CEO of CACI by the end of June, the company said Tuesday.
I am excited about the future of CACI under Johns leadership and have confidence that the leadership, vision and values John has demonstrated, through the successful implementation of our strategic initiatives and management of our operations, will lead to continuing success, Asbury said.
As COO, Mengucci oversees CACI’s business development, operational policies, human resources and recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and other corporate functions.
He previously served as president of U.S. operations at CACI with responsibility for the companys main business groups as well as federal, state and local markets.
