KBR‘s (NYSE: KBR) government services arm has won a potential $949.4M contract to help the U.S. Marine Corps Blount Island Command manage and sustain equipment for deployed forces worldwide.

KBRWyle will provide logistics support services to ensure the availability of required assets under the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The service branch received two offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive solicitation process on FedBizOpps and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual task orders.

The IDIQ has a five-year base period valued at $530.4M and work could extend through November 2027 if all options are exercised.

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program aims to reinforce geographic combatant commands’ responsiveness through the delivery of support services to global expeditionary operations.
