APTIM announced on Thursday that Alan Weakley has been appointed president of Government Services business for the company.

Alan will not only benefit our work in the government sector but also contribute to APTIMs overall expansion by leveraging his extensive experience driving enterprise-wide growth.”
Weakley is an industry executive with a wide range of experience in engineering management, operational, consulting and executive roles. Weakley has served as a consultant for Bristo Consulting Services since Aug. 2017.
Prior to APTIM and Bristo, he served as the president and chief operations officer for Janus Global Operations between 2013 and 2017. Weakley spent four years with CSC serving as the president of the Applied Technology Group from 2009 and 2011, and the president of the Defense Group between 2011 and 2013.
Weakley worked as the vice president and general manager of the EG&G Division for the URS Corporation for 23 years. He also served the U.S. Navy for six years aboard fast attack, nuclear-powered submarines from 1980 to 1986. Hes also volunteered for the Highland Support Project since 1998 and has been the president of the Alabama Tennessee Viper Club since 2016.
Weakley graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems. In addition, he earned a Master of Engineering Management from George Washington University.
