Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented David Wajsgras, president of intelligence, information and services for Raytheon, with his fifth consecutive Wash100 Award on Wednesday.
Executive Mosaic recognizes Wajsgras for leading the development of organic R&D and securing major contracts from several federal agencies. We are pleased to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Wajsgras.
Wajsgras served Raytheon as the senior vice president and chief financial officer between March 2006 and March 2015 before assuming his current role. Previously, he was the president and chief financial officer of the Lear Corporation. He was the corporate controller for Engelhard Corporation and was responsible for internal and external reporting and corporate accounting. He also held various financial management positions with Honeywell International.
Wajsgras serves as the chair of the board for Raytheon Australia. He also serves on the Center for a New American Security Advisory Board and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance Board of Directors and is a member several other boards. He is also the executive champion of Raytheons persons with disabilities employee resource group.
He earned his bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA from American University.
