Dr. Scott Goldstein, chief strategy and technology officer at ENSCO, will be honored at the 2019 Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Radar Conference for his contributions to the design, development and deployment of multidomain radar, electronic warfare and cyber systems.
He will receive the Warren D. White Award for Excellence in Radar Engineering from the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society during the event that will take place on April 24 in Boston.
Goldstein is an Air Force brigadier general and an assistant to the undersecretary of the Air Force. He has held leadership assignments at the Air Forces Cyber, Space and Missiles Systems Center and Air Force Research Laboratory.
He has over three decades of leadership experience in advancing the development of technology platforms across cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance areas. He has four U.S. patents in advanced sensor data compression, spread spectrum communications, ISR and adaptive processing for signal detection.
Goldstein served as a vice president and technical fellow at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and the Institute for Defense Analyses and as a Shackelford Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia Tech Research Institute.
He is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s intelligence science and technology group and Army Science Board.
