DLA Awards GE Healthcare Business $100M Patient Monitoring Tech Supply IDIQ


General Electric’s (NYSE: GE) healthcare division will supply patient monitoring equipment and accessories to U.S. military branches and federal civilian agencies under a potential 10-year, $100M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency.

GE Healthcare will also provide training services under the firmfixedprice, indefinitedelivery/indefinitequantity contract that includes one fiveyear option, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The five-year base period of performance is expected to conclude on March 5, 2024.

DLA’s troop support organization received 36 responses for the IDIQ via a competitive acquisition process and will obligate defense working capital funds for fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2024 on orders.

The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps can obtain products and services from the contractor through the contract.
