TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 2, 2018 ” PAE ISR has entered into an agreement to utilize Persistent Systems‘ MPU5 radio with Wave Relay mobile ad hoc networking technology on the Resolute Eagle unmanned aircraft system, ExecutiveBiz reported Dec. 19.
The PAE and AOC joint venture said Dec. 18 the radio system works to run high-demand applications such as live voice-over-internet-protocols and video as well as augment a wireless network’s capacity.
“We have customers that require the MPU5 and this will allow Resolute Eagle to operate seamlessly within their existing architecture,” Chris Corgnati, chief operating officer of PAE ISR, told ExecutiveBiz.
He added that the radio platform integration is designed to transform Resolute Eagle into a “multi-domain force multiplier” in support of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.
