All three contractors will aim to develop, integrate and demonstrate aerospace vehicle technologies through the military branch’s Structures Engineering Research program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Tasks under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract encompass basic, applied, advanced and demonstration or validation research services.
The Air Force received three offers for the project via a competitive acquisition and will incrementally fund the initial task order with $50K in fiscal 2019 research and development funds.
Work will occur at contractor facilities in Dayton, Ohio, and McLean, Va., through December 2025.
