Navy Awards Six Spots on Potential $3.2B BPA for Microsoft Software Licensing & Subscription Services


Six companies have won spots on a potential 10-year, $3.17B blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Navy to provide worldwide perpertual licenses and annual subscriptions for Microsoft-made (Nasdaq: MSFT) software products to the Defense Department, intelligence community and U.S. Coast Guard.

DoD said Thursday the products are intended to address functional requirements for desktop software, operating systems, virtualization, management tools, mobility and software assurance.

The Navy received and selected six proposals through a competitive solicitation among 895 vendors under the Pentagon’s Enterprise Software Initiative.

Contractors will compete for delivery orders during the ordering period that runs through Nov. 27, 2028.

The awardees are:

  • CDWG Government
  • Dell Federal Systems
  • GovConnection
  • Insight Public Sector
  • Minburn Technology Group
  • SHI International
