Industry Coalition Unveils Joint Vulnerability Disclosure to Push Cyber Info Sharing


TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 13, 2018 ” Several technology companies have formed a coalition in an effort to advance cybersecurity transparency and cooperation via the sharing of information on software vulnerabilities, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Cybersecurity Tech Accord said Monday some of the companies that contributed to a Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure are CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA), Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), Dell, FireEye (Nasdaq: FEYE), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE), Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), SAP (NYSE: SAP), Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) and VMware (NYSE: VMW).
