Air Force Increases ATI Space Enterprise Consortium OTA Ceiling to $400M

Advanced Technology International has received a $400M “other transaction” agreement modification from the U.S. Air Force to continue to manage a consortium tasked with developing prototypes of space-related technology platforms for the Defense Department.

DoD said Tuesday ATI will further guide the Space Enterprise Consortium in efforts to build ground, launch and space segment, software, processes and combined systems.

The alliance will also aim to create opportunities for small businesses to work with the federal government, increase collaborations for research and prototyping operations and reduce prototype development costs.

Work under the modification will occur in Summerville, S.C., through Nov. 1, 2023.

ATI initially received a $100M OTA in November 2017 to lead the consortium composed of commercial, nonprofit and academic organizations.
