General Dynamics Awarded $2.1B State Dept Security Engineering, Supply Chain Services Contract


A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit has received a potential $2.07B contract from the State Department for supply chain management and security engineering services.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday says General Dynamics Information Technology will deliver such services in support of the State Department™s bureau of diplomatic security under a follow-on contract to the Supply Chain Management program.

The Global Security Engineering & Supply Chain single-award contract™s scope of services include facility maintenance and security; program management, quality control and performance monitoring; governance; business rules and change management; and performance requirements such as strategic planning and project management, according to the performance work statement.

The company will perform work at U.S. government-run facilities worldwide.
