A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says the follow-on, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract was awarded to CSRA, which now operates as part of General Dynamics information technology business.
General Dynamics closed its approximately $9.7 billion acquisition of CSRA in April.
The single-award contract has a nine-year base term and one-year transition option and calls for the delivery of systems integration support for HPCC systems housed at NOAAs computing centers and research laboratories in Fairmont, W.Va.; Boulder, Colo.; and Princeton, N.J.
General Dynamics will provide manpower, knowledge, project management assistance, software, hardware, compute clusters and other HPC components to help NOAA maintain and operate its HPCC systems, according to the notice.
