Torch Technologies to Help Army Update Simulation, Prototyping Tools Under $221M Contract


Torch Technologies has received a potential five-year, $221.3 million contract to provide modernization and sustainment services to the U.S. Army‘s system simulation and development directorate.

The Defense Department said Thursday the company will help the directorate update a suite of missile modeling, hardware-in-the-loop and prototyping platforms.

Work will run through May 16, 2023, and the service branch will determine performance locations and funds with each order.

The Army Contracting Command received one bid for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via an online-based solicitation.

Huntsville, Ala.-based Torch Technologies specializes in modeling, simulation and prototyping; information technology; program support; software and system engineering and integration; test and evaluation and unmanned aircraft systems.
