Lockheed CEO Marillyn Hewson Earns Edison Award for Industry Contributions

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 13, 2018 ” Marillyn Hewson, chairman, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has received the 2018 Edison Achievement Award for her contributions to the technology field through her professional career, achievements and leadership, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

Lockheed said Thursday the Edison Awards Steering Committee also awarded the company Gold prizes for its Matrix Technology, which works to support autonomous helicopter operations, and Spectrally Beam Combined Fiber Lasers designed to protect weapons from security threats.
