The Defense Department said Thursday the DCGS-Army Capability Drop 1 program requires an integrated hardware and software platform designed to support training, security, usability, interoperability and data management functions.
DCGS is a system-of-systems built to help commanders gather and disseminate intelligence data to warfighters in real time.
The Army Contracting Command received eight bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and will provide funds and performance locations with each task order.
Work is expected to be finished by March 8, 2028.
