John Coleman, formerly president of the investigative service group at Omniplex World Services, has been named president of Peraton‘s homeland security sector in a move slated to take effect March 5.
Peraton said Tuesday Coleman will oversee programs and growth efforts within the company’s business that offers a range of support services to federal customers that include the departments of Homeland Security and State.
“Johns extensive experience in program management, business management, and customer relations will be an asset to the company as we work diligently to support current and future homeland security customer missions,” said Peraton CEO Stu Shea, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
Coleman joined Omniplex in April 2017 after he previously served as vice president of the information and missions solutions business area at PAE‘s national security solutions unit and as VP of the service center operations division at FCi Federal (now a PAE business unit).
He also worked at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) as program director for the company’s Application Support Center Contract with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
