The Washington-based private equity firm said Wednesday it plans to merge IAI with human intelligence platforms provider Xebec that Arlington Capital acquired in 2017.
David Wodlinger, a partner at Arlington Capital, said the company will support efforts to expand IAIs capabilities in space systems, geospatial intelligence and missile defense in support of national security clients as well as offer career opportunities to its workforce through technology and human capital investments.
IAI CEO Dave Dzaran said the company is excited to combine with Xebec to form a technology platforms provider for the intelligence community.
IAI co-founders Steven Wear, Paul Frommelt and Kenneth Abeloe took part in the recapitalization and will continue to participate in IAIs future strategic growth efforts.
IAI delivers software platforms and engineering support to defense, intelligence community and civilian government agencies in the areas of ground systems, electro-optical/infrared, radar and other intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms.
