Neil Albert, formerly president and CEO of McLean, Virginia-based professional services contractor MCR, has joined Advanced Concepts and Technologies International as president.
Albert will be responsible for the Arlington, Virginia-based government acquisition support services providers business development, growth strategy and financial performance in his new role, ACT I said Tuesday.
ACT I CEO Michael Niggel said Alberts addition to the executive leadership team would help the company meet its strategic growth objectives and continue to provide support services to the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, Defense Health Agency, foreign military sales clients and other international customers.
Albert previously served as vice chairman at MCR and director of cost estimating and analysis at Textrons (NYSE: TXT) defense systems business.
He has more than three decades of experience in providing acquisition management, strategy development, program management, cost assessment and risk analysis support to federal agencies and industry.
Albert is a Professional Services Council member who served on the organizations executive board for four years.
He also sits on the executive board of the National Defense Industrial Association’s integrated program management division and is a former senior fellow on the defense secretarys defense business board between 2002 and 2014.
