Andrew Drew Del Matto, formerly chief financial officer at Fortinet (Nasdaq: FTNT), will join Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS) as executive vice president and CFO in a move that takes effect Feb. 19.
Del Matto will directly report to David Henshall, Citrix president and CEO, and oversee the software firms capital and financial management strategies, information technology, budgeting, investor relations, tax and treasury and accounting operations, the company said Monday.
Henshall said Del Mattos financial management background at cloud security firms complements Citrixs leadership team as the company works to advance its cloud transformation efforts.
Mark Coyle, who has served as Citrix CFO on an acting basis since July 2017, will report to Del Matto and continue to serve as senior VP for finance.
Del Matto spent four years as CFO at Fortinet and prior to that, he held senior financial and business management roles at Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC).
He served as acting CFO, SVP and chief accounting officer, VP of business operations and corporate treasurer as well as VP of financial planning and analysis during his eight-year tenure at Symantec.
He also held senior leadership roles at Inktomi, SGI and KPMG.
