Jacobs Provides VR-Based Visualization Tool to Support Construction Project in Wales


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 26, 2018 ” Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has delivered to the government of Wales in the U.K. a visualization software that utilizes virtual reality technology as part of the company’s support for a highway construction project, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the VR platform works to supplement its technical advisory services for the Welsh government’s effort to update sections of the A465 Heads of the Valleys road in south Wales and is aimed to provide stakeholders a virtual environment to see the impact of the project to the area.
