Cubic TS to Deliver Mobile App for LA County Contactless Fare System


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 4, 2018 ” A Cubic (NYSE: CUB) business unit will build a mobile application for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority that will work to support users of the region’s contactless fare payment system, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Wednesday Cubic Transportation Systems utilizes a cloud-based application programming interface built on a software-as-a-service platform powered by Microsoft‘s (Nasdaq: MSFT) Azure environment to deliver the app for travelers in support of the TAP smart card system.
