Justin Poole, Deputy Director of NGA, Added as a Keynote Speaker for Potomac Officers Club 5th Annual Intel Summit


TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 19, 2017 “ The Potomac Officers Club ” a division of Executive Mosaic ” has added Justin Poole to the list of keynote speakers for the 5th Annual Intel Summit.

The Summit will be held on January 25th, 2018, at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner from 7:00am to 12:30pm.

Justin Poole is the seventh Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). As deputy director of NGA, Poole assists the director in leading the agency and managing the day-to-day operations of the Agency and the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence. He was appointed as deputy director on August 10, 2017, after over 26 years of service with NGA and its predecessor organizations.

Poole previously served as NGA’s Content Portfolio Manager and Director of Source. In these dual roles, Poole was responsible for creating, collecting, and brokering authoritative GEOINT content and services in support of national security efforts. Prior to serving as Content Portfolio Manager and Director of Source, Poole was NGA’s director of Xperience and was responsible for enhancing user experience through online, on-demand GEOINT services which provided access to content, expertise and applications.

Poole is one of three confirmed keynote speakers for the 5th Annual Intel Summit. Dan Coats, Director of National Intelligence of ODNI, and Sean Roche, Associate Deputy Director for Digital Innovation of the CIA, will also be keynoting the Summit.

The landscape of the Intelligence Community (IC) is changing in response to the emergence of innovative technologies.
