The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year ordering period and a five-year option, the Air Force said in a request for proposals notice posted Monday on FedBizOpps.
In April, the Air Force approved the F-16 Service Life Extension Program that seeks to extend the flight hour limit for Lockheed Martin-built F-16 aircraft to support operations through 2048 and beyond.
The service branch aims to lengthen the structural service life of the F-16 fleet from 8,000 to 13,856 flight hours through the production and delivery of up to 841 SLEP modification kits.
Interested parties can submit proposals through Jan. 8.
