CTC-UDRI Joint Venture Lands AFRL Task Orders for Energy Mgmt Support; Ed Sheehan Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 16, 2017 ” A Concurrent Technologies Corp. joint venture with the University of Dayton Research Institute is working to support the U.S. Air Force‘s energy management and efficiency efforts as part of task orders worth $3 million combined, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Nov. 9 the E2 Technologies JV received the task orders from the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Advanced Power Technology Office in August and September for a variety of programs, including work on a flightline generator configuration and a prototype joint operational environment modeling and simulation framework.

“Along with our partner, [UDRI], we provide valuable expertise in research, testing and transition of advanced energy and environmental technologies,” added Ed Sheehan Jr., president and CEO of CTC.
