IBM Watson Health, CDC Study Blockchain Tech for Data Processing


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 26, 2017 ” IBM‘s (NYSE: IBM) Watson Health unit is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on research efforts in the area of blockchain technology for data processing applications, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Fast Company reported Wednesday that IBM Chief Science Officer Shahram Ebadollahi announced the partnership at a recent event and noted the potential for blockchain to bring flexibility in getting insights out of healthcare data ecosystems.
