TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 5, 2017 Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and its partners Cerner and Accenture have implemented a new electronic health record system at Naval Hospital Bremerton in Washington as part of the initial operational capability rollout to the Pacific Northwest, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 27.
The team fielded the MHS Genesis platform in Bremerton following previous deployments in Fairchild and Oak Harbor in support of the Defense Department‘s Military Health System modernization efforts, Leidos said Sept. 25.
“[The] partnership built the program around three objectives: leverage technology to enhance the delivery of clinical care at military treatment facilities, address cybersecurity requirements and deploy systems with minimal disruption during implementation,” said Jerry Hogge, senior vice president of Leidos defense health business.
