The Defense Department said Wednesday the contractor will support the engineering and manufacturing development of 90 Bomber Armament Testers the Air Force intends to use on B-2A, B1-B and B-52H weapons.
BATs will have a common core tester and test program set for all three aircraft models and be designed to help the Air Force test stores management systems and line replaceable units on- and off-aircraft, according to a FedBizOpps summary.
The service branch obligated $17.1 million in fiscal 2016 and 2017 research and development funds at the time of award.
Work will be performed in San Diego, California, through Feb. 1, 2027.
