Systems Planning and Analysis has received a potential five-year, $94 million contract to help the U.S. Navy develop and deploy above water sensors.

SPA said the follow-on, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract awarded by the Naval Sea Systems Command™s program executive office for integrated warfare systems has a one-year base term and four option years and covers technical and engineering support services for the above water sensors program office, also known as PEO IWS 2.0.

œSPA will deploy domain expertise in advanced sensor systems to assist the Navy in delivering these complex systems to the fleet, said William Vantine, SPA president and CEO.

PEO IWS 2.0 oversees the development, deployment and sustainment of electro-optical sensor platforms, electronic warfare, decoy, directed energy and radar systems for the service branch™s surface ships.

Vantine added that PEO IWS 2.0 works to help the Navy build up œwarfighter diversity against changing threats.
