NASA said Saturday the ordering period under the SMAS II small business set-aside contract will begin from Sept. 1 and run through Aug. 31, 2022.
MEI will help implement agency and center policies for Goddard projects that include systems safety, risk assessment, mission software and ground systems assurance, mission assurance, occupational safety and health regulations at on-site and supplier locations.
The company will also support flight projects and collaborative programs such as James Webb Space Telescope, Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer, Joint Polar Satellite System-1 and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite missions.
Work also covers support for Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope, Restore-L and Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem projects.
