The Naval Surface Warfare Centers Indian Head explosive ordnance disposal technology division in Maryland received 11 offers for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Monday.
The service branch will obligate $10,000 each from fiscal 2017 R&D, test and evaluation funds at the time of award and work will occur in Virginia through February 2022.
Contract values for individual companies are as follows:
- American Systems: base value of $9.1 million with a $47.5 million ceiling if all options are exercised
- Applied Technologies: base value of $9.2 million with a $47.5 million ceiling if all options are exercised
- Applied Research Associates: base value of $10.3 million with a $54.4 million ceiling if all options are exercised
- Booz Allen Hamilton: base value of $9.4 million with a $48.8 million ceiling if all options are exercised
