Antonio Neri Promoted to HPE President; Meg Whitman Comments

Antonio Neri, executive vice president and general manager of enterprise group at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE), has been promoted to president at the Palo Alto, California-based technology company.

Neri will oversee HPE™s four primary business lines and the company™s HPE Next efforts that aim to streamline operations, seek new growth opportunities and advance market expansion following the completion of the merger of its enterprise services segment with Computer Sciences Corp., the company said Wednesday.

œAntonio is a veteran technology executive who has led some of the most important businesses and initiatives at HP during his 22 years with the company, said HPE CEO Meg Whitman.

Whitman added that Neri was instrumental in the integration of SimpliVity, Aruba, SGI, Nimble and other acquisitions into HPE as well as the reinvention of the firm™s technology services business.

Neri managed the development and delivery of storage, converged data centers, servers, networking, cloud and other information technology platforms to clients as EVP and GM of HPE™s enterprise group.

He previously served as senior VP and GM of Hewlett-Packard™s networking and servers business units before the company split into two firms “ HPE and HP Inc.

He also oversaw HP™s technology services business unit as SVP and GM from 2011 to 2013.

Neri started his career at HP as a customer service engineer in 1995 and elevated to the role of SVP for the firm™s personal systems group.
