CH2M-Clark Nexsen JV Wins $100M Navy Energy Project Support IDIQ

A joint venture of CH2M and Clark Nexsen has won a potential five-year, $100 million contract to help the U.S. Navy to architect, engineer and design energy systems.

The Defense Department said Tuesday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers energy management, architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and environmental support to DoD utility, water and energy consuming systems within the Navy’s shore infrastructure.

Work will occur at various Navy and U.S. Marine Corps facilities and other government properties within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest’s area of responsibility through June 2022.

The NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center received six proposals for the contract via the FedBizOpps website.

The service branch obligated $10,000 in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
