Nazzic Keene, president of global markets and missions sector at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), will assume additional duties as chief operating officer of the company.
SAIC said Thursday Keene will oversee the firm’s services and solutions sector and take on responsibilities related to procurement, contracts and pricing, communications and information technology operations as COO.

Moraco added that Keene will work to help the McLean, Virginia-based IT services contractor advance the implementation of the growth strategy – Ingenuity 2025 and boost the firms market leadership as sector president and COO.
Keene is responsible for handling program execution, strategic business programs and customer relationship management across the company as president of the global markets and missions sector.
She moved to SAIC as senior vice president for corporate strategy and planning in 2012 after she worked at CGI Group as SVP and general manager for U.S. enterprise markets.
Keene is a 30-year IT and communications industry veteran and sits on the board of Capital Partners for Education.
SAIC also announced that it will move its corporate headquarters to Reston, Virginia, by July 1 in an effort to consolidate the firms leases in the National Capital Region.
The company will continue to use several floors in its current office in McLean until the leases expiration in 2020.
